Community & Group Discounts

The discounts below recognize the work that the patient or the patient’s family does for the broader Austin community. Active-duty and veteran military, teachers in any K-12 or higher-education setting, first responders (police, fire, EMS), healthcare workers, and multi-sibling families all receive a fixed-dollar reduction off the comprehensive treatment fee. The discounts are stackable with the $100 referral credit (when applicable) but not stackable with each other; one community discount applies per patient. Dr. Viecilli verifies eligibility at the consultation, the discount is applied to the comprehensive fee in writing, and financing terms are calculated against the post-discount amount so the patient does not pay interest on the discount portion.

Stacking & Discount Rules

One discount per patient. Discounts do not stack. Limestone Hills honors a single community or a pay-in-full discount per active treatment. The discount applied is the largest one the patient qualifies for. Multiple discounts cannot be combined on a single fee.

Discounts apply to comprehensive treatment only. The community and pay-in-full discounts apply to the comprehensive orthodontic treatment fee. They do not apply to limited treatment, retainer-only fees, appliance-only services, second-opinion consults, transfer-in fees, or records-only visits.

Eligibility verified at the consultation. The fee with the discount applied appears in writing on the financial agreement before treatment starts. There is no rebate process and no after-the-fact application.

How to Apply Your Discount

Two ways to claim a community discount at Limestone Hills:

  1. Bring proof of eligibility to the consultation. A military ID, teacher ID, first-responder badge, healthcare-worker ID, student ID, or family-member chart number is sufficient. The front desk verifies eligibility before the financial agreement is signed.
  2. Mention the advertisement at the time of scheduling or at the consultation. Patients who saw a community-discount promotion (printed flyer, social-media post, partner-organization mailer) and identify the source receive the discount without further documentation.

The discount is applied directly to the comprehensive treatment fee on the financial agreement. There is no coupon code, no after-the-fact submission, and no requirement to pay first and seek a rebate.

Pay-in-Full Discount Explained

Limestone Hills offers a 3% pay-in-full discount on the comprehensive treatment fee for families who pay the full balance at the start of treatment. The discount is calculated on the total comprehensive fee for the patient before any insurance contribution is applied. Insurance benefits are then billed and reimbursed to the family directly.

The 3% pay-in-full discount cannot be combined with any community discount (military, teacher, first-responder, healthcare-worker, family, student). Patients qualifying for both options choose the larger of the two at the consultation.

Pay-in-full is paid by check, cash, ACH transfer, or major credit card. The discount appears on the financial agreement, not as a post-treatment refund.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I stack multiple community discounts?

No. One community discount applies per patient. The 3% pay-in-full discount and the $100 patient-referral credit can stack with one community discount; only the community discounts themselves are mutually exclusive.

Do siblings each get the family discount?

Yes. The $300 family discount applies to each sibling enrolled in comprehensive treatment, starting with the second sibling. Cousins and extended family do not qualify; the discount is for siblings under the same household.

What ID is required?

Active-duty military: military ID or DoD verification. Veterans: DD-214 or VA card. Teachers: school employee ID or pay stub showing K-12 or higher-education employer. First responders: department badge or ID. Healthcare workers: hospital or clinic employee ID or pay stub.

Family: parent ID plus enrollment confirmation for the second sibling. Students: current college or graduate-school enrollment verification.

Are discounts available on Phase 1 (early treatment) cases?

Yes. The community discounts apply to comprehensive Phase 1 and Phase 2 cases at the same dollar amount. Phase 1 fees vary by case complexity and are quoted at the consultation.

Can I use a discount on retainers or other appliances?

The community discounts apply to comprehensive treatment fees only. Standalone appliances (Essix retainers, sports guards, standalone TMJ splints) are priced at the published rates without community discounts. The exception: when the standalone appliance is an add-on to a comprehensive treatment plan, the comprehensive fee receives the discount.
